Hi new angel,

I've worked with many cashed-out entrepreneurs looking to get involved in angel investments and strongly recommend you connect with an existing angel group in your area. That way you can benefit from the investment knowledge brought by those who have been investing for a while - and can bring your own time and effort. contacts, sector expertise, etc. to assist the group in their investment due diligence efforts.

There is a comprehensive directory of angel groups across North America, listed conveniently by region, on the Angel Capital Association website - www.angelcapitalassociation.org.

If you happen to be located in the greater Toronto area - you could come to my events.

Good luck,

The Angel Lady

Hi Amnon:

My name is Eitan, and I have a company that is trying to launch a 'next generation' software system designed to do innovative medical office management, a very unique aspect of web-based medical billing and a whole IT sub-system to implement universal patient connectivity with their medical providers/resources. It is very ambitious and will probably be extremely successful, but we're trying to take it a step at a time, with a constant focus on profitability as a primary goal for each intermediate step. The ultimate vision encompasses nationwide application and worldwide possibility for patient access and communications with their providers/healthcare resources. We have 13 employees and have been in business for 12 years. We had been selling our existing software for medical office management, scheduling and billing along with web-based comprehensive billing services for several of our clients. Most of our business now is in the billing aspect. We are committed to our exciting new project, but it is beyong our scope to finance it and see it through to the subsequent stages.

We need a minimum of $500,000 to help "roll" the initial product out the door within the next 6 months, and to spearhead the following stages of development. We'll most probably need an additional $500,000 to complete that development within less than 1 year and to market our product/services in Florida, NY tri-state, Texas and Michigan - to start with. We plan to set up "thin" sales/support offices in these areas, then march on to the west-coast.

I would love to talk to you about very favorable ROI, more about our plans and future prospects.

Eitan.

I need to contact a progressive investor, interested in medical software with innovative web-based connectivity for billing, 2-way patient contact and other (exciting) healthcare IT transactions.
Will give up some equity, in-trade for 1,000,000 capital and interested monitoring/participation in the project development.

Hello,

I have an opportunity for a $500,000 investment with a quick ROI.  It is a short-term investment with a complete buy-back by end of 2006 when my company is sold.  If you want to learn more about the product visit www.softweargroup.com and go to the products page.  The company has a new inventory component for the Lodging Industry with a patent pending on the underlying business processes.  This unique solution solves a three-decade old frustration for hoteliers worldwide and TSG is the only company in the world who has it.  The company is preparing to be acquired by end of 2006 and has a leading veteran of similar mergers and acquisitions brokering the deal.

If interested in learning more please e-mail me at tbrown@softweargroup.com and I will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.  Timing is of the essense on this deal as there are several pending deals with the company that would negate the need for this investment opportunity.

Thanks,

Terry Brown

In addition to the great comments you've already received, you may also want to check out an angel group in your area (google "Agnel Capital Association" for a listing). Especially if you're new to investing, a group can provide a number of key things as you look at a prospective investments. Depending on the members in the group they can provide objective background and references on the market and people involved as well as co-investing with you. This latter is very important if you're doing seed or early stage investing since you're likely to have to do multiple rounds of investment. This means you not only need to reserve "dry powder" but also want to lower your risk of being tapped out money wise.

I am a business scout for a number of VC firms in S. Cal however I come across some great small start-ups that are not ready for VC money yet because they only require "angel" funds at early stages of development. As they grow then we revisit them.

Two such companies are 1) DeskSite, a very hot growing new media company with major accounts and they have an open angel round with only 450k left to fill ( not many know about it), review them at www.DeskSite.com :2) Keycode, though they are profitable they may still like expansion funds check www.Keycode.com

If you have questions let me know.

Per my other email about DeskSite, here is one of their accounts Universal Music and the hip/hop artist Eminem. Even if you are not a fan of that genre install their software and see what it does and how this delivery system would effect everything from music, TV and movies to real estate, medical Xrays and of course the entire adult industry!

You can download it off Eminem's website or go to www.EminemDeskSite.com

Is there anything in the tech world that rivals this? I liked the company enough that I have personally invested because it changes everything.

I hope you get a chance to come back and read this. I've got a funding opportunity that is truly great. Our initial product is a digitally controlled, fiber-optic Christmas tree capable of displaying nearly 17 million colors in soothing, mesmerizing and dazzling patterns and routines. The trees are interoperable between themselves and a host of like-technology products (wreaths, toppers, ornaments, boughs, banners, etc.). Someday we'll provide the consumer with the ability to program their own patterns & routines and orchestrate their decorations to music - any music. The products can also be downloaded and upgraded through a web portal, ensuring a dynamic entertainment presence in the marketplace. Our future product designs call for icicle lights that actually look like icicles; wearing apparel; floral arrangements and landscaping accoutrements. We're patented and have had our beta products assessed by a company with ties to Wal-Mart, who gave our product one of the highest scores ever awarded to a new consumer good.

Would love to hear from you and any other interested parties: technoblog@qwest.net

Regards,

Ed Reed

Hi my name is Jeff Meadows.  I am looking to start a business, one that has little overhead.  I want to explain the business but worry about people taking my ideas instead of helping me.

I am looking to start a Boat/RV storage facility with a related business in front.  I want to put a parts supply shop in front of the storage.  Parts and supplies for boats and RVs of course.  Right now I work as an Autocad Technician and part time at the AutoZone parts store.  I am amazed at how often people come in looking for parts for there Boat and RV.  Automotive parts stores have only Batteries for marine applications.  There are not alot of choices for people in Loveland CO. to store there Boats and RVs, same goes for finding parts.  In the winter months the storage will generate most of the income.  There are a few storage facilities in Loveland but only a couple that store larger items like that.  None that I am aware of that offer covered storage.

I was in Helena last year visiting and my brother in law took me to were he stores his boat.  It was a nice facility.  It offered covered storage and had about 100 units.  If you store 100 units at $80 a month that $960,000 a year.

Please let me know what you think and If you can not help me maybe you know someone who can.  Thank you for your time.       Jeff Meadows
