The project has been green lighted and is being fast tracked by the studio with the majority of the funding coming from the studio. He just needs to raise the development capital - which is only a small percentage of the funding since the bulk has already been taken care of. He is just selling off a small percentage to individual, private investors to retain more control over the project. The payout will be tremendous and his produtions are queuing the start in the very near future - within a month or two.
